Terry's birthday fell on the Sunday after Thanksgiving so we decided to celebrate on black Friday. We spent a fabulous day in Orange County!
We started at Cafe Rio... YUM!
Then we headed over to Roger's Gardens. They had a great Santa there and after three attempts I finally convinced B to take her picture with him... She agreed on the condition that she sat on my lap not his! We had a great time browsing... B's favorite thing being the train!
After that we headed to get a Sprinkles cupcake!
And we finished the day at Fashion Island Mall!
We were probably stopped about 50 times over B's outfit!! It was great... everyone was dying over all those ruffles and that sequin hat!
It was a fabulous day and I feel so blessed to have amazing in-laws! I am so glad that we have the kind of relationship where we love to hang out with each other even when Brett isn't there! The only bummer was that on the way home we got stuck in traffic for over 2 hours!!!! A police chase had led to an accident which had closed down the freeway! Thankfully B had grabbed her tablet and some toys which helped keep her occupied. It was a nightmare but thankfully we had enough gas that we didn't get stranded on the side of the freeway like many others!
