Three Years Old

We must have taken hundreds of pictures of B on her birthday but you can never have too many, right? We love this beautiful girl so much!! I can't believe she is 3!!! How is it possible that time has gone so quickly? Here are her birthday pictures and an update...

- B can spell her name and almost write it too!!
- She LOVES her dance class... thankfully we stuck with it because it is the highlight of her week
- She is a SUNBEAM!!! I can't believe we are done with nursery and I am glad to say that at the end of last year and now as a sunbeam she has had no trouble going to class by herself!! FINALLY!
- When she grows up she wants to be a doctor, dentist, or a vet... depending on the day!
- Her bff is Lilley and we love going to the park, gymnastics, and play-dates at their house!
- B has a cross between an English and American accent!!
- She LOVES to sing... most of the time that is her focus in dance rather than actually dancing
- We love to go to the library together... B has a love for books. Right now some of her favorites are Fancy Nancy, Ladybug Girl, and anything Princess, Barbie, or Spiderman!
- Parenting a 3 year old has already been significantly more challenging than parenting a 2 year old... Brooklyn is very independent and feisty (I am sure my Mum is loving this because those genes are definitely from me!)
- B's favorite movies are Toy Story 3, Brave, and Tangled. She loves going to the movie theater and has most recently seen Wreck It Ralph and Hotel Transylvania
- B no longer takes a nap and hasn't for a while... although she almost always falls asleep in the car!
- She is very funny and is always cracking us up with the things she says
- She is also very sweet and loves to tell me that I am the most beautiful mummy, that she is staying with me forever, and how much she loves us!
-  She weighs 31 lbs (45th percentile) and is 38.5 in tall (80th percentile)
- B has finally managed to get the hang of the L sound... although she is hysterical when saying a word with lots of L's because she over emphasizes
- Brooklyn loves to skype with my parents and will also talk on the phone to them. She also loves to call Brett every night to check when he will be home!
- We have started working on a pre-school work book everyday which she loves doing
- Basically she is amazing and we love her! Everyday I can't help but look at her and think how amazing she is and what a wonderful blessing she is in our lives!!!

 And my favorite.... 3 balloons for 3 amazing years!!!
