Happy Un-birthday!

Brynn got the fabulous idea to throw an un-birthday party for the kids! She went all out and Jewel and Brooklyn pretty much thought it really was there birthday!!

The festivities began with home-made sidewalk paint and party hats of course!

 And continued with HUGE water balloons...

And treat filled balloons in the pool...

 Cupcakes that looked like hamburgers!!

 And glowstick swimming to finish off the day!!

Toward the beginning of the summer we had been watching home videos from when Brett was a kid. In them his Uncle Rick is always the life of the party like in this video he was jumping and doing tricks with them on the trampoline. As Brynn, Mindi and I were talking about it we realized that you want to be the one in the video... not the one on the sidelines. So for the rest of the summer we made it our motto to 'be the one in the video'... sure enough we made everyday fun and created some great memories!! I wish I could have taken more pictures and videos of all the fun things we did... Water balloon volleyball, movie nights, scaring the LIFE out of Grammy, jumping on the trampoline, geocaching, visiting the tide pools and so much more... but it's hard to be the one taking pictures when you are trying to be the one in them!!!
